“Can we accept truths that contradict our beliefs?
Migrant Route- Jason allowed himself to be trafficked by the cartels to undertake the migrant route through 7 different countries.
10 Different Countries- Jason documented the impact of immigration and how it relates to the U.S. Border in Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama, Ecuador, Peru, Colombia and the United States
5000 miles-Jason drove both sides of the border between the United States and Mexico, documenting every accessible mile of the border wall on each side of the wall. From Tijuana to Playa Bagdad (San Diego to Brownsville), Jason covered every mile.
Bucking the Trend- in a day and age where nearly every single issue takes a hard right or hard left angle with the way it’s reported, Jason undertook this project to try and show both sides. This project ended up challenging his own pre-existing belief system and he anticipates it will challenge the beliefs of those who watch it, as long as they do so with an open mind.
Series- due to the size and scope of this documentary, this will be a multi episode series that will break down this issue on so many levels.
Raw and Real- Jason’s style is to present his viewers the facts of what he actually sees and captures while documenting the issue. The footage and thoughts he shares will be based on real world, on the ground level facts, showing you what’s what.
